Catching up from Christmas

We'll start with some pretty old photos. I tried a few times to post Christmas photos on this blog but it didn't work properly so I posted them on Facebook. I'll try again soon to get some more Christmas ones up. These first ones start with the end of our vacation in Florida, which was so cold it left us scrambling to find things to do inside. We found this place called Jungle Bounce, which had a bunch of inflatable bounce house type things to play on in one big indoor area. I guess I shouldn't complain because when we got back to Walden, the temperatures were getting down to negative 22 almost every night for a week. Our highs were sometimes 1 degree. So we've been staying inside a lot here as well, but it is finally getting up into the 30s again. Now we are working on potty training, which Elise is excelling and teaching Linnaea a trick or two.

The girls go up the giant slide. This slide scared the heck out of me the first time Linnaea went down it, but she immediately hopped up and went again. Elise really wouldn't do it by herself until it was almost time to go. She did a great job of working up the courage to go on it!
